Welcome to Riddle Elementary!

On behalf of the Riddle staff, I would like to welcome you to the Riddle Elementary School Web page. We are looking forward to another great year at Riddle Elementary!  We are anxiously looking ahead to reacquainting ourselves with the current Riddle families and welcoming our many new families.  We encourage family members to become an active part of the rich learning environment at Riddle.  Our classroom teachers welcome volunteers and our staff is always available to help answer question, listen to concerns, or just a friendly chat.     

The teachers and staff at Riddle are always looking for ways to stretch their minds and grow with the students as they constantly learn new methods to teach to all learning styles and to incorporate research-based "best-practice" instructional strategies to help all children succeed.  The Riddle Elementary School staff is committed to working hard to realize our vision of making Riddle a WORLD FAMOUS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. To that end, we are committed to:

The Indiana Academic Standards serve as the basis for our curriculum. We use common assessments to evaluate student progress toward mastering standards and to guide our instruction at every grade level. Multidisciplinary projects and thematic units integrating the state standards are a part of our teaching methodology to provide authentic learning experiences and to help engage students in their learning. Our staff is committed to providing continual support to our students to ensure mastery of the State Academic Standards in preparation for their next level of learning. The Arts and Character Education are essential components of a well-rounded education. Students are engaged weekly in art, music, physical education, and technology. The character traits of thrift, conservation, citizenship, character, morality, and responsibility are emphasized in all classes.

Market Day is Riddle's fund raiser. We send home a flyer once a month for frozen food items. If you wish to make a purchase, fill out the order form and return it to school before the due date on the back of the form. One Tuesday a month will be the designated pick up at Riddle School. You will pick your order up between 4:00 and 5:00. Riddle gets a percentage of the sales. October will be the month to order pies!
